The Werner Finley filter is a fully automatic fine filtration system for specialised usage in carbide tool manufacturing industries. Besides its other applications, it also provides 3-5 micron filter ration efficiency, which is based on the edge filter principle, without any filter aids like diatomaceous earth, cartridges, or paper band. The grinding oil being cleaned down to 3 micron, ensures utmost operating safety of the grinding operation. These benefits can lead to overall performance improvement of up to 20%. Because of the fact that no consumables are utilised, the volume of sludge is reduced to the absolute minimum and is experienced to be just 10% of the volume compared to conventional systems. Thus oil drags out losses are minimized, too.
