GVN Material Handling (P) Ltd offers a range of Feeders/Apron Feeders. Feeders are similar in construction to conveyors and consist of endless belts or aprons operating over head and tail ends. A stationary skirt confines the material and provides necessary depth of bed in desired capacity, or to accommodate large lumps. Different types of feeders can handle practically any bulk material or ores, sand gravel, stone coal, foundry and industrial refuse. Apron feeders are recommended for handling materials containing large, heavy or lumps, sharper for installations where they must with stand the impact of heavy materials falling some distance and for receiving and feeding hot materials that would damage other types of feeders. The aprons have different styles, and are suitable for most bulk materials as per IS: 7423-1974.
