Facing & Centring Machines

Facing & Centring Machines

Facing and centring machines are ideal for machining hot forged and cold forged components such as crankshafts, spline shafts, axle shafts, eccentric shafts, bar components, etc., and for components up to 400 mm length. The machine features a centrally mounted, hardened and ground square fixture slide. The component slide moves forward to complete the milling operation. A self-centring vice is provided for component clamping. The component cutting units are mounted on the left and right sides of component slide. Each cutting unit consists of one centring slide, centring head and one facing head. Both centring and facing heads have independent drive motors. The machine is operated hydraulically and controlled electrically. A coolant system is provided for drilling operation, and a centralised lubrication system provides lubrication of slides.
