The MicroCross enhanced video connector (EVC) system eliminates wiring mazes and minimises the EMI that can result from using multiple connectors and cables in high frequency applications. The monitor can be used as an I/O hub for high frequency multimedia applications. Separate connectors and cables for each function are not required. A crossing ground blade design provides a video bandwidth of over 2.5 GHz on RGB and clocklines. Other multimedia functions are offered in a 35pin mixed-analogue and mixed-digital signal pin field.
