Innoventive Industries Ltd offers ERW Tubes. The Precision Steel Tubes & Tubular Products division, the flagship unit of the Innoventive Group, is presently engaged in the manufacturing of precision steel tubes and tubular components for various core sector industries. The company has an installed capacity 64,800 MT pa for ERW tubes and 23265 MT pa for CDW tubes. Wide width steel strips in coil form, manufactured by reputed steel-makers such as Ispat Industries, JSW Steel, Essar Steel and SAIL are used as the basic raw material. The tubes are subjected to numerous quality checks. The company has a sophisticated online testing system for detecting surface defects during manufacturing. The tubes, which are welded, pass continuously through the test head located 'on-line' and generate signals controlled and monitored by the tester equipment (ECT). The tubes produced are inspected for dimensions and weld quality through prescribed mechanical tests, surface finish and internal weld bead dimensions, etc. Samples are cut and tested in the quality assurance (QA) laboratory for determining the tensile properties (yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and percentage elongation) and hardness. Customer-specific requirements are ensured through a documented system of understanding. The QA laboratory is equipped with modern testing equipment all testing devices are calibrated with detection levels maintained to national standards. The tube length to be cut is measured electronically using an on-line rotating encoder, which initiated the cutting saw.
