Engineered Polymers (India) manufactures stock shapes (rods, plates and tubes) and machined parts from a wide range of Engineering and High Performance Plastics. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located in the outskirts of Bangalore. The company processes materials using two distinct processes – Anionic Polymerisation of Lactams popularly known as cast nylon and extrusion. It also offers Lubron Series of materials with enhanced self-lubricity and higher PV values; and modified materials with better heat stability. Cast nylon variants with molybdenum disulphide filler, glass reinforcement, etc., are also available. The company offers PA 12G for special applications. One of its prime products is non-fading blue with superior heat stability and impact resistance (PA6G NF Blue). Extruded products are available in Nylon 6, Nylon 66, POM, PET, PBT, Polycarbonate, Polysulphones, PPS, Ultem, Noryl and PEEK. All these materials are available in natural black and glass filled grades. PEEK is also available in carbon fibre filled and bearing grade. The company offers pellets to parts through basic processing facility and machining facility of conventional and CNC machines. It machines only plastic parts thereby avoiding any metal contamination.
