BLW Engine Valves manufactures nitrided Engine Valves for automobiles (four stroke engines). The range includes: automotive engine valves; bimetal valves; marine engine valves; motorcycle valves; non magnetic valves; oil engine valves; stainless steel valves; tractor valves; and valve seat inserts. For surface treatment of valves, the company has in-house facilities of nitriding and an oxidation plant. The company also offers the nitriding services for the following range of automobile components: spline shafts; valves; stub axles; cams; crankshafts; differentials, die inserts, tappets, distributor pinions, cylinder liners and H11, 13 dies and M 2 dies. This service is also available for engineering industries that require the surface hardness, wear and corrosion résistance of ferrous components. The capacity for nitriding treatment is about 1250 kg per day and oxidation is also 1250 kg per day, and if required, this capacity can be increased.
The in-house facilities include:
- Nitriding Furnaces – dia 500 mm length 1000 mm, dia 550 mm length 1000 mm and dia 650 mm length 1200 mm
- Oxidation furnace – dia 700 mm length 1200 mm
- Vibro polishing machine
- Compressors
- Water quenching tank, hot water tank
- Generator – 125 kVA, 62.5 kVA
- Lab and all other accessories for inspection of nitriding and oxidation bath, process.
