Energy meter calibration panel
This system facilitates testing of a number of meters, say five, ten or 20 at a time, resulting in speedy testing of meters. The system broadly comprises of power source, error display units, photo electronic sensors, fabricated panels with fixtures, a computer system, software and a standard reference meter. The power source will provide: a) Test current at low voltage adjustable to get any current between zero to 50 A, which is displayed on the digital current meter b) Voltage source, which gives variable, voltage adjustable between zero to 300 V. The voltage at output is displayed on a digital voltmeter while the calibration is done at unity power factor. The error display unit is a micro processor based six-digit display unit to indicate ? per cent error (?100.00 to +100.00).
