This single phase induction electric motor protection unit cum starter is a microprocessor based unit very suitable and specially designed for submersible pump applications. The company also offers Single Phase Voltage Monitoring Relay, Motor Protection Unit, Voltage Monitoring Relays, etc.

  • UBZ-118 provides protection to single phase induction electric motors with power up to 1.5 HP (12 ?) working with a single Run capacitor
  • The UBZ-118 unit is designed to provide permanent control of mains voltage parameters and current effective value, which is consumed by the 230 V/50 Hz motor
  • In the UBZ-118 provides an input for water level sensor for automatic start or stop of the motor (complete automation of pumping applications)
  • The setting of phase shifting (Run) capacitor directly into the device itself
  • digital LED display shows voltage, current, frequency, faults with value and time (start time, auto reset time, latency time after thermal overload fault before auto reset)
  • UBZ-118 provides protection in the following situations – when the mains voltage is of poor quality (over and under voltage)
  • Mechanical overloads of the motor occur due to rotor jamming (over current)
  • When motor torque is lost/ dry run protection (under current)
  • Delayed start or rotor lock-up
  • Thermal overload (heat model of the motor is calculated in terms if current square x resistance x time)
  • When frequency of the AC supply varies (over and under frequency)
  • For each separate type of fault, the unit allows to enable or disable an automatic reset (AR) of the motor
