Prime Electronics has recently introduced very compact and rugged, feature packed Electric Load, Model EL 601 with overall size of only 145 (W) x 250 (D) x 250 mm (H) and weight 7 kg. It is designed for easy portability and saving valuable space on test bench. It has convenient handle provided on the top to carry it in the field. All controls and display are provided on the front panel for ease of operation. Multiturn load adjustment pot makes it very easy to precisely set the load. Separate voltage and current/power DPM meter gives continue display of load voltage and current or power on front panel. Total load power (wattage) is displayed by simple slide of a switch. With all built-in protection such as over load, over voltage, over temperature and reserve input, Model EL 601 electronic load is failure proof. With voltage range of 2 to 60 V DC, current range of 0 to 120 A and power range of 600 W, it is very convenient tool for testing of switching power supplies, SMPS units, DC power plants, DC-DC converters, solar charges, variable power supplies, telecom power supplies, medical power supplies, solar charge controllers, redundant power supplies, hot-swappable power supplies, multi output power supplies, battery charger, float cum boost chargers, DIN rail power supplies and other DC sources such as fuel cells, batteries, etc. It has applications in R&D labs, production line testing, inward inspection departments, repair and maintenance shops, and for field testing and sock testing of all types of DC sources. Model EL 301 with 300 W capacity, EL1201 with 1200 W capacity and EL1801 with 1800 W capacity, are also available with similar features and specifications.
