Prime Electronic offers Electronic Battery Discharger, Model EBD 601 M. This is very versatile equipment for checking performance of all types of batteries. It can discharge batteries of 2 V @ 120 A rate, 6 V @ 100 A rate, 12 V @ 50 A rate, 24 V @ 25 A rate, 36 V @ 16 A rate and 48 V @ 12 A rate. In between voltage and lower discharge current can be set as per battery voltage and capacity in Ah. Batteries can be discharged in constant current or constant power mode. Discharge current can be precisely set from the front panel with multi-turn pot. Battery voltage and discharge current is continuously displayed on front panel DPMs. Total power being supplied by battery can be seen by simply sliding a switch. Its compact size and light weight makes it very convenient to carry it for discharge of batteries in the field. Different types of batteries such as SMF, lead acid, tabular, GEL, AGM, VRLA, Ni-Cd, NI-MH, stationary, and traction power can be checked using this electronic battery discharger. The equipment operates on 230 V AC mains supply. It can be supplied with 110 V AC line voltage facility. Model EBD 601 is also available in programmable version. Model EBD 601 P (Programmable) has provision to set final voltage in voltage mode or discharge time in timer mode. It is very useful in R&D labs or inward inspection departments. Electronic battery dischargers EBD 301 with 300 W of discharge rate, EBD 1201 with 1200 W discharge rate and EBD 1801 with 1800 W discharge rate, are also available with similar features and specifications.
