Vikrant Engineers manufactures electric hoists for a wide range of applications like: at garages, service stations, auto workshops, slaughter houses, meat processing plants, sewer cleaning, domestic and industrial water holds, construction machinery plants, cement plants, etc. These electric hoists are manufactured in compliance to IS-3938/1983 to meet Class II duty applications. Constructional features: the main housing is of rolled and welded construction all the hoist parts having been housed inside, thus forming a single integral compact unit. The motor is manufactured in-house and is a combination of an electric motor with disc brake, operating on sliding rotor principles. The starting and stalling torques of motor are 220% and 290% of full load torque respectively. The built-in brake is a mechanical disc brake, conical in construction, designed for 200% of full load torque of the motor at rated load. Limit switches are provided to prevent over hoisting or over lowering for maximum safety.
