Fine Finish Organics has developed Finelube-Ag-01, which is a highly conducting silver grease containing anti-seize additives. This grease not only provides electrical conductivity, but also provides exceptional resistance to mechanical wear and chemical attack. This leads to reduce wearing of contact surfaces and brushes. The consistency of this grease is like any other lubricating grease. It is ideally suited in HT machines (for slip rings), transformers (to eliminate corona discharges between bushing and the body), moving contacts in switchgears, moving earthing linkages of coating machines and a host of such applications where mobility and electrical contact are simultaneously needed.
