Electrical Speed Indicators

Electrical Speed Indicators

Pioneer Industries offers Electrical Speed Indicators (tacho meters or RPM meters) accurate instruments for measurements and control of many processes in industrial production. This includes: machine tools, marine equipment, textile machines, testing laboratory works, railways, cement factories, printing machines, fertilisers, turbines, oil engines, paper mills, rope ways, etc. They are useful where the indicator is to be located some distance from the point of measurement. The indicator can be located for up to 75 mtr from the tacho generator. Models are available in round and square shapes, in panel mounting or wall mounting type – having liner scale or circular scale. The deflection angle is 250° swing, moving coil movement. Readings are in RPM, M/Min, KMPH, M/Sec. AC tacho generators are available in base mounting, neck mounting, flange mounting or surface pulley types or flange mounting high voltage are AC induction types. The armatures are light weight with permanent magnets stationary coils are used. There are no contacts brushes or batteries to wear out. Voltage output is proportional to the speed and dependent upon speed range for which the generator was designed. These generators are 8-pole magnets and are unaffected by over speed and heat. The standard voltage of AC tacho generator is 10 to 20 V at 1000 RPM. Connection: run ordinary two cord rubber wire from the tacho generator to indicator terminals. Connect both tacho wires to the indicator terminals directly and make the terminal tightening by hand. Indicator can be located for up to 75 mtr away. Driving accessories: flexible spring coupling, belt and pulleys, chain and sprocket system, and surface pulleys, etc.
