It eliminates the need of energy meters in each feeder, thus saving huge costs and cumbersome connections. It can be set to measure all major electrical parameter at specified time intervals-even every second. It can store the data with an internal memory of 2MB and transmit the data to computers at more than one point. It helps to prevent system failure and to protect the equipments connected to the feeder, due to variation in electrical parameters. Even remote monitoring from several hundred kilometers is possible through GSM/ PSTN modem and user friendly menu driven software.
