Dust Collectors

Dust Collectors

Chemietron Associates offers Dust Collectors that are useful in wide variety of process equipment for chemical dyes, cement, pharmaceutical, pigments fertilizers, petrochemicals, thermal stations and other industries. Progressive legislation in respect of atmospheric pollution demands careful consideration on the selection of dust collection systems. The company designs units according to dust, chemical and physical properties, and offers a complete range of intermittent and continuous duty fabric filters, which include every thing from small self contained unit with as little as 3.6 m2 fabric area up to large multi module, reverse jet filter unit covers over 1000 m2. The flat and round shaped elements make these units extremely versatile and compact in design. The range based on standard components and module sizes can be made in quantity and then assembled in different combinations to provide precise solutions to provide healthy air. Chemietron dust collector units can handle dust loadings of more than 2 kg/m3 of air. Pulse jet compact unit is factory assembled in wide range of sizes from 16 to 175 filter bags, round and sleeves pocket filters.

Working principles:

  • Fully automatic, self cleaning and factory assembled unit
  • Filter elements fitted and enclosed in dust tight housing
  • Polluted (dust laden) air enters in the housing and passes through filter elements
  • Dust remains outside of element and air is sucked by suction blower and released to the atmosphere
  • Cleaning cycle starts through pressure periodic and momentary jet in reverse direction in filter elements cause fall of dust from filter surface for collection
  • Timing is controlled by electronic sequence timer and pneumatic valve to provide efficient continuous flow from dust collector
