Indus Engineering Enterprises offers new generation Twinstar double disc grinding machines manufactured by Ernst Thielenhaus GmbH, Germany. The machine incorporates state of the art design techniques and materials, machine bed made of polymer concrete, hermetically sealed maintenance free bearings and slides and many other innovations. This new concept offers unsurpassed quality and at the same time cost efficiency due to short cycle times, short changeover times and reduction of tool change over times by up to 70 percent. Both horizontal and vertical models are available with grinding wheel diameters of 600 and 900 mm. Transportation of work pieces can be done either according to the plunge cut method or the through feed method or a combination of both. State-of-the-art optional equipment includes adjustable drives for manual adjustment of spindle speeds, for different chipping volumes on left hand and right hand sides. Post process gauges at work piece outlet. Impact sound reception for first cut recognition to provide exact and controlled dressing of both grinding wheels.
