Double Shut Off Couplers

Micron Engineering offers Double Shut Off Coupler, DS Series. The coupler plug is pushed into the socket, then it is securely held by the self-locking arrangement resulting in positive and leak proof connection. This action simultaneously opens the valve and the flow of fluid starts. To disconnect, the sleeve of the socket has to be pulled back, the plug ejects and valve shuts off automatically. Specifications: material of construction: stainless steel and brass; size: Å’ and 3/8; working pressure: 40 kg/cm2; pressure resistance: 60 kg/cm2; suitable fluid: air, gases, automotive and refrigeration; and seal material: viton, nitrile, HNBR and EPDM. Application: used in fluid line connections like air, gases, liquids, steam oil, etc., used in chemical petroleum, pharmaceutical, automotive, refrigeration and other industrial uses.
