K P Steel Industries offers a Double Beam Surface Vibrator. This is made of alloy section making it very light in weight and hence providing easy transport with very little or not physical labour. The double beam surface vibrator can serve the purposes of both compacting and levelling the concrete. This is beneficial in two ways: 1. Provides optimum vibration and 2. Provides lasting life. The double beam surface vibrator is an aggregation of a two part beam unit and a vibrator unit. In order to prevent the sagging of the beam unit due to the weight of the vibrator unit, a tensioning device is provided throughout the length of the beam unit. A specially designed water protected unit is mounted on the centre, which produces 2800 centrifugal force, ideal for the compression of concrete. The vibrator unit further consists of a vibrator, which is fitted at the centre of the beam unit. A reverse and forward switch is also provided, mounted on a clamp and fixed to one end of the beam unit. Technical specifications: 1. Beam unit: beam spacing – 320 mm; height of beam – 100 mm; standard length – 4.2 and 6.2 mtr; and weight of standard length – 59 kg; and 2. Vibrator unit: power supply – 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz; rated current – 2.4 A; vibrations – 2800/min; centrifugal force – 6000 N; and weight – 25 kg.
