Chloride Power Systems and Solutions Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Exide Industries Limited, offers a range of Distribution Boards. A distribution board is a component of an electricity supply system, which distributes the available electrical power into subsidiary circuits, while providing a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit in a common enclosure .The DCDB may also have provision for emergency DC feeder. In case of failure of AC supply, the feeder will be energised from DC source automatically. Range of distribution boards available with Chloride: AC distribution boards; and DC distribution boards. Sub categories in DCDBs: compartmentaliced DCDBs, non-compartmentalised DCDBs, DCDBs with draw out type feeder, integrated DCDB (part of charger) and DCDB with provision of emergency DC feeder in case of AC supply failure. Features: to distribute AC and DC supply; may be compartmentalised or non-compartmentalised; and degree of protection IP-52.
