Torr Marketing (I) offers Direct Driven High Vacuum Pump. The motor is coupled to the pump by means of a flexible coupling, special construction of this coupling and the use of specially selected materials ensures smooth and quiet running of the pump. The rotor is mounted eccentrically in the pump cylinders. The three radially sliding vanes divide the pump chambers into three sections. Due to rapid rotation of the rotor the vanes are forced to slide against the cylinder walls by means of centrifugal force. The pumping is brought about by alternately increasing and decreasing the volume of the working space which is of crescent shape in cross section. The component parts are sealed by viton `O’ rings. All parts are pinned to ensure easy disassembling and reassembling. The company claims to be the only one in India manufacturing all types of vacuum pumps and systems under one roof. All these products are manufactured under the guidance and supervision of experts and specialised technicians. Standardisation is observed in manufacturing each model, which ensures easy interchangeability of every part, and hence maintenance becomes most handy.
