The measurement range is 35 to 130 dB in 3 ranges and it also has a range selector switch. Features include: A and C weighting network, fast and slow response, AC/DC output for system expansion, internal oscillation system for calibration, maximum hold function, warning indicator for over and underload, and a low battery indicator. As it is small and light in weight, the meter allows one-hand operation and can be carried to any place where sound has to be measured. It has characteristics such as A and C: A is selected when environmental sound has to be measured and C is for machinery noise. User areas include factories environmentalists, and some general purposes.
