Ammess Electronics manufacture portable/hand held conductivity meters. The portable unit has three different models depending upon the measuring range. They are models DCH-01, DCH-02 and DCH-03, having ranges from 2 to 200 micro MHOS, 20 to 2000 micro MHOS and 2000 to 20,000 micro MHOS, respectively. A standard conductivity probe is provided having cell constant `1' with the meter. The meter has an accuracy of (+)(-) 0.5% +1 digit. It has the distinct feature of display HOLD, Auto Shut Off and Easy Calibration procedure. It has a membrane keypad with ON, OFF and HOLD keys. The meter is battery operated as well as 230 V AC operated using AC adapter. It is designed to consume very low battery power to increase the battery life. A typical heavy duty 9 V DC battery lasts for at least 25 hours if used continuously. The meter automatically shuts off after every 31 minutes approximately. The 2 indication are on 31 digit LCD with 0.5"character height. The 2 weight of the meter is 275 gms with battery. The dimensions are 175 mm (L) x 75 mm (W) x 36 mm (H). These meters find vast application in desalination plants, demineralisers, de-ionisers, industrial, chemical, pharmaceuticals, agro, sugar, fertilizers, dyes and textiles, airconditioning, laboratories, etc.
