Digital peak hold temperature indicators
Digital peak hold temperature indicators are suitable for measuring the temperature of molten metal (ferrous or non-ferrous) in a furnace or ladle. The complete system from Vijayesh Instruments consists of immersion lance with a thermocouple (expendable, type K, S, R or B), compensating cable and this instrument. The lance is immersed into the molten metal bath and the total measurement is completed within three five seconds. The temperature plateau detection software ignores erratic and transient readings caused by furnace hot spots, spikes in electric supply, slag, etc. The instrument works on 230 V AC. A printer for record purpose or external large display for remote sensing can be connected to the instrument.
