Diaphragm Valves

Diaphragm Valves

Both series ‘S’ weir type and series ‘G’ straight through type diaphragm valves seating is machined to have controlled travel, good surface finish and 100% leak tightness with less effort. In house rubber processing facility ensures consistent high quality, full control on raw material and formulation and prompts deliveries.

  • Water/effluent treatment and sewage plants.
  • Chemical plants – basic chemicals and user Chemicals.
  • Food, beverage and pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Compressor air lines.
  • Handling slurries and abrasives in mining industry.
  • Handling heavy water, radio-active fluid for nuclear power generation.
  • Fertiliser industry.
  • Caustic chlorine plants.
  • Manmade fibers and rayon industries.
  • Pulp and paper plants.

  • Design standard: BS - 5156
  • Size range: 25mm to 300mm
  • Pressure rating: upto 14 kg/cm2
  • Materials: CI & CS
  • Lining: Hard Ebonite, Nitrile, Neoprene, EPDM & other Synthetic Elastomers
  • End Connections: Flanged ends.

  • The most economical, corrosion/abrasion resisting valve.
  • Bubble tight shut-off is against slurry, fibers, liquids and gases.
  • Simple in construction and operation.
  • Simple in-line maintenance.
  • Body and diaphragm only come in contact with fluid. Hence, the working parts such as stem, bonnet etc. have a longer life and can have in cheaper metallurgy.
  • Glandless hence more suitable for hazardous and corrosive application since there is no contamination.
  • Lined bodies with natural and synthetic elastomers, etc., eliminate the need for exotic material of construction for wetted components.
  • Special lining reduces abrasion and erosion.
  • Acts as in-built gasket for flanged and bonnet joints.
  • Self draining when mounted at 150 angles.
