Autograph AGS-G Series is a compact, desk-top type universal testing machine that provides highly reliable, low capacity tests of various materials through simple operation. The loading unit, measure/control unit, operation unit and recording or data processing unit are all compact and lightweight. The capacities range from 5 KGF to 2 TF with 7 steps of range selection which can be selected automatically or manually. The loads are displayed in Newton units or KGF units. The main display has a feather-touch panel, which presents commands graphically so that operation is made quite easily and in an error-free manner. Loads are measured with an accuracy better than ?0.5% of the indicated value over the entire measuring range from 1/1 to 1/250 of the load cell capacity. The crosshead stroke is measured with a high resolution over the entire range. The crosshead is driven with an AC servo motor of a digital control type, which ensures a crosshead speed control accuracy of better than ?0.5% over a wide range from 0.05 to 1,000 mm/min. AGS-G Series has Auto Load Zero function as standard. Auto zero, Auto calibration and automatic load cell characteristics reading function ensure easy operation and accurate readings. Sensitivity adjustable specimen break detection function, peak/break value display, program control timer provides flexibility in testing different materials. The various optional attachments are available for compression test, bending test, shearing test, exfoliation test, cohesion test, bursting test, low-cycle fatigue test, high or low temperature test and immersion test. Data processing with an IBM compatible PC facilitates execution of tests according to various standards such as ASTM, DIN, BS, and ISO.
