Indelcon Systems has introduced programmable and non programmable DC Electronic Loads in different models – iEL and iPEL series. The loads are in modules of 300 W and 600 W, which can be paralleled to achieve higher wattage. They are available in constant current mode; constant voltage and constant resistance modes are available against specific requirement. The modules are protected for over current and reverse polarity. They have large LED display to indicate present current value. The programmable type modules are micro controller based and have RS485 (MODBUS) and/or Ethernet for networking. They have sealed keyboard and 4-line alphanumeric LCD for programming and indication apart from the regular LED display. The non programmable types are available with a potentiometer to set the current desired. The modules are available in 19†sub rack system or as per user’s requirement. The modules also can be controlled by PLC to execute a predetermined sequence of tests. Typical applications are wire harness test benches, alternator testing, DC power source testing, etc.
