Developed by ULTRAKUST division of Bartec Cornponenten und Systeme GmbH, Germany, STOR is a mobile thermally insulated datalogger for synchronous temperature measurement with 1 to 12 thermocouples. The universal datalogger is water and pressure sealed and is contained in a small compact design. STOR is designed for inaccessible temperature measurements where conventional sensor installations are difficult or simply not possible, eg, inside the furnaces, autoclaves under water, etc. The unit is initially programmed via a STOR interface regarding the input given to each of its 7 or 12 channels. When inserted into the process, STOR can memorise the process temperature while travelling with the product. The STOR system is self-contained, battery powered, and can be inserted into any oven atmosphere. The measuring data can be downloaded into a spread sheet program via SDF format for further evaluation. When battery power is low, the logger stops recording, but the data previously recorded is maintained for a minimum of 24 hours. Technical data: Direct connection of TC, RTD, humidity sensor, pressure gauge, voltage and current; memory capacity: 65,536 measurements; Intelligent memory management and starting option; and Temperature load: 300?C for two hours, and with insulating vessels up to 1,400?C. Insulation vessels for all applications are available.
