Entek IRD offers another addition to IRD Mechanalysis' family of industry leading data collectors, the dataPAC Model 1500. The company has also announced an industry first-total support for Open Systems constructs. This latest addition is the most advanced portable data collector/analyzer available on the market today, providing many advanced features typically only found in bulky real-time analyzers. It includes all the features of dataPAC 1000 and dataPAC 1250, plus a 2-channel analogue input capability. In addition, it includes fully-featured time waveform displays, live-time spectral, true zoom FFr analysis, phase /magnitude/speed plots, full cursor control, as well as time synchronous FFF and time domain measurements. These, and other features, provide users with the highest performance in-situ analyzer available with a data collector. Some of the latest technologies incorporated in dataPAC 1500 are: 32 bit DSP microprocessor for speed in data manipulation; 18-bi tanalogue-to digital converter to differentiate even the smallest vibration signal; FFT and true zoom resolution up to 12,800 lines; split screen display that allows for simultaneous live time displays for both FFT and time waveform; fully supports low and high speed machines with frequency measurements down to 10 CPM and up to more than 4.5 million CPM; screen capture capability allows for fast write of screen images to memory card, images that can be off-loaded for viewing or printing by using the windows compatible dataPAC screen print view utility; vectorially averaged phase reading allow for stable phase measurements up to 10 x RPM; true zoom allows for precise frequency measurements to less than 1 CPM up to 60 kHz; extensive control over time waveform displays allow for analysis and interpretation of daia in a variety of ways; and, large LCD screen (5.25 x 4.0") with VGA resolution (640 x 480) for accurate and precise analysis of data at the machine site.
