Smithson Machine Tools offers Hydraulic Universal Cylindrical Grinding Machines, SHU-600. These are fully installed with electric motors, switchgears and wiring that normally suits the electrical supply of 380/415V; 3 Phase AC and 50 cycles.
Maximum centre distance (mm): 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1250, 1500, 2000 and 2500; maximum centre height (mm): 130, 130, 150, 150, 150, 205, 205 and 205 respectively; maximum swing over bed (mm); 259, 259, 299, 299, 299, 409, 409 and 409 respectively and grinding wheel size (mm): 354x25x127, 354x25x127, 407x25x203, 407x25x203, 407x25x203, 500x40x203, 500x40x203 and 500x40x203 respectively.
Body and all slides are made of high grade cast Iron, duly seasoned, rigid and strong enough to prevent distortion & wear. Table slide is hydraulically operated, quick hydraulic retraction and forward movement of cross slide is provided and the hydro mechanically cross-slide on request.
