Pitroda Utility Industries offers a hydraulic Cylindrical Grinder, Model PUI-300. The base is made of close grained and heavily ribbed casting for high rigidity one piece body. All the guide ways are carefully hand scraped to ensure high accuracy and V-flat table guide ways have continuous lubrication. Longitudinal hand travel of the table is by rack and pinion arrangement and automatic travel by hydraulic mechanism. Hydraulic system consists of hydraulic pump, valves, levers, piping, etc., all conveniently housed in the base as well as separate power pack. Rapid approach can be provided hydraulically with separate slide. The wheel head spindle is made of case hardened nickel chrome alloy steel ground and micro finished and runs in adjustable phosphorous bronze metal bush bearings to achieve high accuracy adjustable and long life. Drive to the wheel head is transmitted by two V-belts. Work head spindle is made of special alloy steel and runs in taper roller/angular contact bearings. The drive to the work head is built for stationary and live spindle grinding. The work head can be swivelled for angular grindings. The tailstock is spring loaded and accept MT-3 taper. Internal grinding attachment (optional) has an independent drive motor and is hinged on the wheel head and can be quickly lowered into grinding position. The internal grinding spindle runs in two precision match pair angular contact bearings, the drive to the spindle is transmitted by flat belts. Generous coolant supply is provided with electrical pump fitted on separate tank. The machine is supplied with all electrical suitable for 400/440 V AC 50 Hz. The motors are of reputed make, the electrical panel is mounted on one side of the machine, push button station is located on easy reach of the operator.
