Amber Engineering Enterprise offers Cup Wheel Grinder Motors. These are single ended high speed (2-pole) motors with threaded shaft. The shaft of this motor is fitted either with taper roller bearings or with angular contact bearings at both ends, as per applications of the user. This motor is used as direct drive in place of high speed spindles to grind surface of any material. The check nuts are fitted before the bearings to adjust the play between two taper roller bearings. The dynamically balanced rotor and rigid construction ensures vibration free working. Shaft of the motor is extended outside the fan cover of the motor, which helps to tighten the nuts easily. These motors are available from 71 to 112 frame sizes in speed of 2800 RPM. Applications of these motors are in grinding the beds of lathe machines, plano millers and surface grinders and in all those applications where cup wheels are used for grinding or where the job is to be ground by the face of the wheel.
