Adjustable/orientable hydraulic bite type couplings as per DIN 2353/(ISO: 8434) are offered in carbon, steel and SS 304 and 316 and are designed to perform from low pressure to the extreme pressure up to 630 bars. Sealing method is metal to metal and sealing reliability varies from good to excellent. The design is compact and flow characteristics are fair. It is easy to assemble and install. These couplings are best suited for steel, copper or stainless steel tubes where brazing, soldering, welding, flaring, threading is not possible or permissible. These are most suitable for space limited applications. The fitting is a flareless three piece design comprising a socket body having a precision conical seat, a one piece precision machined hardened progressive ring (ferrule) and a coupling nut. Advantages: products are safe, reliable and stand life-time guarantee; fittings available from 6 to 42 mm OD tube in low, medium and high pressure; plug end available threads are in Metric DIN 3852 and BSPP; maintains consistency in the quality with the help of CNC machines, precision instruments and gauges; and duly hardened progressive ring has two cutting edges hence biting into the tube is much better.
