- Transformers from 100 KVA to 1600 KVA, up to 33 KV class can be supplied with corrugated tanks
- Two options are available – conventional (free breathing type) & hermetically sealed type; used mainly for Compact Substations or where space is a constraint.
- Free breathing transformers are fitted with conservator tank and silica gel breather; provided with corrugated walls on all four sides to meet the temperature rise, these transformers occupy less space than the normal transformers provided with radiators
- Hermetically sealed transformers can be either provided with welded cover or bolted cover.
- These transformers are maintenance free as no breathing takes place.
- Ideal for places where the conditions are excessive moisture, dusty atmosphere or heavy pollution; compact in size; improved heat dissipation; elegant appearance
