This is a practical unit to test the elasticity and elongation of various coatings, on metal conforming to various standards like ASTM D-522/BS 3900. The conical mandrel is tapered from 37 mm to 3 mm dia over a length of 200 mm. This allows easy identification in a single operation, at specified diameter over entire mandrel length. The mandrel is made of stainless steel. It has a sturdy construction, and comes with a calibration certificate to NPL standards.
