Porous Materials Inc offers a compression porometer that can measure the largest and smallest pore diameter, mean pore diameter, pore distribution, mean flow pressure, and gas and liquid permeability of a compressed material. It characterises separators under conditions of their actual use within a battery and is designed to test separators under operator designed compression levels. The unit is completely controlled using Windows based software and can be run concurrently with other Windows based software. The control software is easy to use and provide the operator with graphic displays of the instrument status which can be controlled using simple mouse clicks.
