The Composting Machine is used for distillery effluent. This is a state-of-the-art engineering and international standard, with powerful 150 hp at 1500 rpm Cummins diesel engine powering the rotor and the imported hydraulics. This design saves space and can turn 1450 m of press mud and accommodates 1250 m of press mud in one acre. Independent hydrostatic drives for front wheels. Since effluent spraying is in controlled manner, per day spraying of effluent is equal. 1 ?? SS 304?12 numbers nozzles for efficient spraying on rotor inside the hood, which ensures maximum utilisation of spent wash and coats every particle of press mud. No lumps or leachates formation and composting are done inline with the Pollution Control Board?s norms.
