Optomech Engineers Pvt Ltd has tied up with M/s Atoms Optical Measuring, Switzerland for manufacture of Atoms A77, a unique instrument for automatic measurement of component dimensions. In Atoms A77 one has to simply keep the component on the instrument, the high resolution camera and the precise telecentric optics captures the image of the component and using the powerful Atoms V2 metrology software, the dimensions are measured and stored automatically within seconds. The software provides a full range of feature measurements with no limit on number of points or measurement steps in a routine. Atoms A77 allows parts to be placed on the stage in any orientation. The system recognises the part and measures with no operator set-up required. Just place the part and press a button. Atoms A77 can measure anything within its 32 mm field of view.
