Dollar Luminaires has introduced compact and lightweight halogen fixtures, Lightal Series 1551, chiefly intended for main line halogen tubes. They are fitted with an anti-UV glass with a silicone rubber gasket in between. The fixture is fitted with silver tipped halogen holders. The body is made of pressure die cast aluminium. The halogen fixture is suitable for shop-window lighting, art galleries, portraits, advertisement boards, showrooms, hotels, passages, cascades and for general lighting purposes. The fixture conforms to IP Specification 54. It is currently available for linear halogen tube of 150-W and shortly would be available in 500 W and 1,000 W versions.
