New from Banner Engg Corporation, the R55 colour mark sensor offers speeds of up to 10,000 actuations per second. Its design includes a solid state emitter and receiver, permitting printed colour registration mark resolution. The R55 solid state light source will detect all colours found in today"s print jobs, even a low contrast mark such as 20% yellow ink or newsprint. The R55 will fulfil the fastest PRODUCTion requirements for users with high speed PRODUCTion lines and webs. The high speed of the R55 allows use to smaller colour marks to achieve the speed desired, or eliminate colour marks altogether and use an eye spot on the package decoration as the colour registration mark.
