This has been designed to check the number of turns on a winding immediately after it has been wound. Features: quick and easy to operate, the type 9600 provides an instant readout of turns, and performance is not affected by a normal workshop environment. In operation calibration is made against a standard coil. The coil or bobbin under test is placed on the appropriate platform and the ends of the coil are connected to a pair of terminals. The number of turns on the test coil is indicated on the digital readout immediately after making the connection. The type 9600 turns counter, which has no moving parts, may be used in conjunction with any of the plug-in platforms described. The instrument size is 340 x 255 x 115 mm, and weight – 3.5 kg.
