CNC Five Axes Polygon Turning Machine – POLYGON-5A model has four servo motors - three for driving axes (X, Y and Z) and one for driving tool holding spindle while one spindle motor is used as work holding spindle. This machine is suitable for polygons, ratchets, slots and splines.
- Two spindle motors has been designed to run with any speed ratio with very good synchronisation and ensures very high precision and accuracy for the components The servo motors are equipped with high resolution absolute encoders for reference-free operation
- Any profile with radius, chamfers and tapers can be easily generated and the polygon can be generated at any position on the component.
- Tool head can be tilted to 90 degrees vertical on either side, machine can also be used as two axes polygon turning machine when the tool head is horizontal.
