Marposs offers a wide range of touch probes for CNC machine tools under it's reputed Mida brandname. This range allows a variety of in-cycle measuring and checking solutions on every type of CNC machine. Different transmission systems like optical, radio frequency and high frequency transmission allow probing even when hard wired connection to the CNC is not possible. The availability of a large number of accessories facilitates work piece inspection and/or tool checking applications on CNC machine tools. The modularity of the system reduces the number of spare parts, as well as maintenance time. The Mida range of probe systems can be installed on existing machine tools by means of several software packages fitting to any CNC. The sturdy design provides excellent metrological performances and insensitivity to high machine vibration even with long styli.
