- Headstock and spindle – solid box construction casting provides excellent rigidity for heavy cutting
- All headstock gears are hardened and precisely ground
- High rigid spindle is supported by high precision taper roller bearings
- Spindle speed ranges are automatically changed by M code
- Infinitely variable speeds are commanded by S code
- An auto-lubrication system is equipped for headstock gears and spindle
- Planer bed is made of grade-25 castings, the hardened bed provides excellent stability and rigidity machine bed has 2 Vee and 2 flat guideways
- Tailstock – the quill is hardened and precisely ground
- The quill uses a MT 6 dead centre or live centre for small workpieces and an extra chuck (A-1-5) can be mounted on the tailstock
- Carriage and cross slide Turcite B lining is applied on cross slide and carriage for reducing friction
- Precision ball screws are equipped on the X and Z axis
- Z-axis ball screws are protected by sheet metal guards to prevent rusting and chip damage
- HDL series HDL 45 – 900 mm swing over bed, HDL 50 – 1000 mm swing over bed, HDL 55 – 1100 mm swing over bed distance between centres – 2000/3000 mm spindle bore – 105 mm
- Flat bed construction, induction hardened and ground headstock spindle, spindle Siemens 802 DSL controller is standard, hardened steel strips with 55-58 Rc provided on bed guideways, hardened and ground headstock gears
