Sharp Chucks & Machines manufactures Chucks. It is manufactured as per International Standards. The body is made of high tensile cast iron alloyed with chromium, nickel and magnesium for better resistance, hardness 180-200 Brinells. The scroll is drop forged from high tensile alloy steel balanced, hardened and thread flanks ground on both sides, hardness 28-36 HRC. The jaws are of low carbon alloy steel case hardened, especially heat treated and ground for accuracy of pitch, hardened to 58-62 HRC. Pinions and key are properly heat treated for durability. Features: maximum run out 0.05 mm; tool room accuracy in production; costly fixtures eliminated; inexpensive to install; long life and rigid grip due to jaws; and teeth and scroll threads hardened and ground.
