Chaudhary heavy-duty chaff cutter, steel gear type with blower system is mainly developed for commercial use and for dairies having 100 or more animals. The chassis of the machine is of iron angle and it is fitted on strong heavy angle legs and braces, with forged feet, which enable the machines to be bolted to the ground. Four wheels can be fitted with the legs to make the machine portable. Since the bevel pinion gear system is used, one can change the motion (reverse/forward) instantly. This is of great advantage to the machine operator, which prevents from accidents like a linb getting into the machine as well as chocking of the machine. Length of chaff can be changed with gear lever instantly. All steel gears are duly hardened. The main shaft is fitted with two bearings size 6205 (high speed) gearbox of the machine is fitted with bearing No. 6304 on the flywheel. Six fan blades are fitted, which throw away the chaff from window. Optional: motors stand can be fitted for mounting of motors on the machine. Technical data: works on 5 to 7.5 HP electrical motor or diesel engine; output 2500 to 3000 kg per hour; speed – 550 to 600 RPM; before starting the machine, fill the main gearbox with 250 ml lubricating oil the outer gearbox with 100 ml lubricating oil and grease; always keep the blades sharp; and one can chaff sugarcane, jowar, maize, etc; conveyor system can be fitted by demand; the mouth of chaff cutter is ground on an automatic grinding machine.
