Chaff Cutter Steel Gear
Chaff Cutter Steel Gear is fit onto a heavy angle iron frame, which is mounted on heavy angle legs and braces, with forged feet. This enables the machine to be easily bolted to the ground. This machine uses a bevel pinion gear system, which allows the direction (Forward and Reverse) to be changed instantly. This prevents the machine from getting chocked and also acts as a safety measure. The length of the cut can be adjusted with the gear lever. The main shaft of the machine has two ball bearings of 6007 and 6307 sizes.
- Operates on a 2.H.P. single phase motor.
- Output: 1000 kgs. -1500 kgs per hr.
- Length of cut: 3/8" - 1/2" and 1/2" - 5/8".
- R.P.M. Required 300 to 350.
- Before operating the machine, fill the main gear box with 200 to 250 ml. lubricating oil no. 90 and the outer gear box with 100 to 150 ml. lubricating oil no.90.
- Never use black oil or any used oil.
- Always keep the blades sharp and maintain a distance of 1.5 - 1.16 mm between the blade and the mouth piece.
