Innoventive Industries Ltd offers CEW/DOM Tubes. The Precision Steel Tubes & Tubular Products division, the flagship unit of the Innoventive Group, is presently engaged in the manufacturing of precision steel tubes and tubular components for various core sector industries. The company has an installed capacity 64,800 MT pa for ERW tubes and 23265 MT pa for CDW tubes. The welded tubes are used as parent hollows. Tubes are then drawn over mandrel tubes to obtain closer/stringent dimensional control, higher mechanical properties, improved surface finish, non-standard sizes and profiles other than circular sections. CEW/DOM tubes are drawn through dies and then over a mandrel to the required dimensional and surface finish specifications. However, Innoventive's Pilgering technology has helped it to conceptualise, initiate, master and scale up the technology of drawing CEW/DOM tubes through a single pass – instead of the multiple pass method that is largely used by Indian tubes manufacturers. The drawn tube is straightened using a six-roller tube-straightening machine. The company has recently added another 6-roller and a 10-roller tube straightening machine to cater to the growing base of customers. A systematic product development cycle is followed through a planned co-ordination amongst marketing, projects, production and quality assurance functions.
