Centrifuge DC Motor
This motor is mainly used for centrifuge application with special provision made for mounting. Motor body is made out of carbon steel, end shields out of aluminium alloy. These are protected against corrosion by pretreatment and finally powder coated. Hard ferrite magnets with high coervice force are used to get high starting torque at nominal voltage. Motor can be made in any voltage required from min of 500 rpm to 5000 rpm. Motor can also provided with magnetic incremental encoder with rpm indicator without increasing the size of the motor. Armature is dynamically balanced and supported with ball bearings. These are face mounting motors and can be installed in any desired position.
