Guru Machine Tools manufactures Centreless Grinding Machine designed to grind small and miniature parts at high speed and within close tolerances. Straight, shoulders and taper parts can be ground with equal ease. The machine is suitable for hardened and unhardened steel, brass, copper, aluminium or any other material. Salient features: grinding wheel spindle is made of hardened alloy steel and runs on phosphorus bronze bush bearings for rigidity, fine finish and accuracy; grinding wheel spindle lubrications is fully automatic and bushes are adjustable for longer life of grinding wheel head; control wheel spindle is made of hardened alloys steel and runs on phosphorus bronze taper bush bearings fitting with self adjustable mechanism; control wheel spindle and worm gear runs in oil bath for its longer life; separate dressing slides are for grinding wheel as well as for control wheel; fixed grinding wheel head for maximum rigidity; control wheel head is fixed on wide and rigid main slides to avoid vibration; the main slide mounted with regulating wheel, work rest and trueing device can be swivelled about a horizontal axis in either direction for quick and accurate parallelism between the face of the grinding wheel and that of the control wheel for producing true cylindrical work; and the machine can be equipped with long bar feeding attachment.
